ARIK AMITAY was born in 1994. He started learning to play the trumpet at the Ra’anana Music Centre (Israel) in the class of Mr. Tamir Akta. He is currently studying at the Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison in Paris. He is also principal trumpet of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. Arik is a recipient of the America-Israel cultural foundation scholarships with distinction and the „Ronen” Foundation supporting outstanding young musicians. He won the 1st prize in the Israeli National Wind Competition 2016 and in the “Loin’s Club of Israel” trumpet competition 2017. He performs as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Haifa Symphony, Ra’anana Symphonette, „Habama” chamber orchestra and others. In 2015 Arik finished three years of military service as a principal trumpet player in the Israel Defense Force Orchestra. He graduated from the „Thelma Yellin” National High School for Arts in 2012.
