ALBERTO SÁNCHEZ (Mexico) – principal trumpet of the Symphony Orchestra of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, professor and trumpet chair of the Institute of Arts University of the State of Hidalgo
ALBERTO SÁNCHEZ was born in 1976 in San Pablito Chiconcuac, Mexico. He comes from a musical family who are famous for playing wind instruments. He began learning to play the trumpet under the guidance of his grandfather Maestro Don Rafael Sánchez and his father Maestro Crescencio Sánchez, both trumpeters. At the age of 9, he joined the classic wind band „Sánchez Brothers”. Later he studied trumpet at the National Music Conservatory of Mexico City. He also participated at music interpretation courses in Mexico, France and Spain. He was a member of the “Carlos Chávez” Youth Orchestra, with whom he recorded seven albums. He has won many musical interpretation contests.
In 2016, he recorded his first album ,,CONSERVANDO MIS RAÍCES” with his own interpretations. He is currently the principal trumpet of the Symphony Orchestra of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo and a professor and Trumpet Chair at the Institute of Arts at the same university.
