ALBERTO ANGUZZA was born in 1984 in Erice, Sicily, Italy.
He started learning to play the trumpet at the age of 7 and was admitted to the Conservatory of Music A. Scontrino in Trapani, Sicily, in 1997. He has performed alongside outstanding artists such as: Luigi Santo, Magazzù Salvatore, Antonio Farallo, Claudio Gironacci, Alessandro Silvestro. In 2004, Alberto joined the band „Charamira”, with whom he achieved radio success. This collaboration led him to be acquainted with two of the greatest Sicilian reggae singers – Jaka and Jahmento, with whom he then recorded several albums. In 2006 he received the „Association for Art” scholarship in Alcamo, Sicily, that allowed him to study jazz at the University of Music in Rome.

In 2008 with the saxophonist Alessandro Mancuso, they formed a band called „Ottoni Animati” which has since become one of the most important Italian street bands. Alberto Anguza has also participated as a guest in many Italian television and radio programs since 2009. He received many prestigious international awards, including for best soloist. He is a founder and an artistic director of the „Marettimo Jazz Festival” which takes place annually on the Marettimo Island, Egadi, Italy, and each year hosts the most outstanding Italian artists. He has also performed in several musicals and the greatest jazz clubs in New York. Alberto Anguza has been an ambassador of the Galileodolce brand since 2017.
